Welcome to Rackers Fine Art Photography, specializing in high quality landscape, cityscape, wildlife, and astrophotography. I'm a St. Louis based photographer that revels in creating unique images that seize the essence of a subject with engaging compositions that reflect my perspective on the visible world. I strive to capture perfect natural lighting for each composition which gives elegance to the ordinary and lifts the extraordinary into the sublime. My additional background in cartography, meteorology, and the natural sciences provides exceptional insight to know when, where, how, and in what conditions to get the best photograph.

I believe photography is an excellent medium for exploring the interface of art and science. It is my way of raising awareness and honoring the beauty that manifests in this tiny corner of the universe.
